Nora Tea

NORA TEA

As a midwife I LOVE the benefits of NORA tea for my expectant mommas. It’s the perfect addition to a healthy diet and lifestyle.

NORA Tea has many health benefits. It supports uterine contractions and toning, provides nutrition that strengthens membranes and vessels, and may even prevent excessive bleeding after birth.

It is also the ultimate supplement! It has loads of Vitamin C, Iron and properties to help anxiety and improve sleep. Drinking NORA daily will help keep that amniotic sac strong, balance out your healthy flora for the baby, boost your iron stores, help manage anxiety / depression, and prevent postpartum bleeding.

You’ll get the best benefits if you begin drinking NORA tea in your 2nd trimester - 16 weeks and beyond. Please start drinking at least 1 cup a day. Increase to 2-3 cups per day by the time you are 30-weeks pregnant. Increase to 1 quart a day by 36-weeks pregnant. You may add other herbal teas to it to change the flavor if you prefer. Some people will add peppermint, lemon, or orange. You may add whatever flavors you love.

Nora Tea Infusion

The best results from drinking NORA tea come from drinking it as an INFUSION rather than just steeping it. To create an infusion, you let your tea steep overnight. Here’s how:

What you will need
    • Measuring cup
    • Pot for boiling water
    • 1 quart glass jar w/ lid for steeping overnight (mason/canning jar)
    • A strainer to catch the leaves after steeping.
Preparing NORA tea infusion
    • Mix the bag well
    • Scoop 1/4 cup of loose leaf tea into the glass jar.
    • Boil 4 cups of water and pour it over the leaves in the jar. Herbal teas steep best in boiling water. Don’t let the water cool before pouring it into the jar.
    • Make sure all of the leaves are drenched & mixed well in the water. Cover the jar with a lid.
    • Place the tea in the refrigerator after it has cooled a bit. Let it steep overnight.
    • In the morning, you will have a very strong infusion of NORA tea. Ideally, drink 1-2 cups per day. In the last month of pregnancy, increase the amount you drink to 1 quart a day.
Where do I get more NORA tea?
    • It just so happens I make NORA tea from scratch with all organic herbs and ingredients! I add Rose Hips and Orange for extra nutrition!
    • One bag of my NORA tea will yield 2 gallons of tea infusion and each bag is hand delivered!

Each bag is $10 which covers delivery!
